Bat Yam Is a Very Busy City

Bat Yam is a very busy city with plenty to do there. The city is home to about 130,000 people, but the influx of people for business and as tourists can make it seem like far more. It is located to the south of Tel Aviv, which is also a very busy tourist area. The business sector of this city was established in 1926 and continues to be very strong today.

Bat Yam Beach

Many of the hotels here are right along the beach. This is a prime location, as this beach is a common reason why people enjoy this city. They can spend time relaxing in the water or along the beach. There are various water-related activities too, including snorkeling, boating, and jet skiing. Sometimes, cruise ships will come past this area and you can get a good look at them. The beach also has a great walkway where you can go for a stroll.

Kenyon Bat Yam

There is a delightful mall here where you can easily spend hours and hours shopping. There are common chain stores as well as unique boutiques. There are fountains and places to eat, and plenty of people-watching is available here. It is a very busy place and people continue to visit.

Defenders Square

This memorial is a strong reminder and tribute to the people who gave their lives in order to protect Bat Yam during wartime. It isn’t known how many people fell in battle, but the numbers are believed to be very high.

Performing Arts Center

It is common for concerts to be held at the performing arts center. This amphitheater is very large and has an amazing sound system. It is a commonplace for people to go during the summer months. It is also very close to the Bat Yam Museum, which provides a deep account of the history of the area.
