Nahariya Is a Delightful Place to Visit
This city is located in the northeastern Israel and has a population of around 54,000. In the early 1930’s, Nahariya was beginning to become a vast agricultural area. Many Jewish refugees made this area their home. In the past 15 years, there has been a great deal of construction of both homes and businesses. The economy suffered greatly here during the 2006 Lebanon War, but has since recovered.
Sderot Ga’aton
This is the main boulevard, and the middle of it is divided by the river. This area is covered in shops and boutiques that attract tourists. There are shady trees for relaxing outside on the many benches. There are plenty of places for dining or for getting sweet treats. There are many unique items to be found here. You had better buy what you like as you will never find it again!
Beach Area
Nahariya offers access to lovely beach areas with beautiful sand and inviting water. Yet the beach doesn’t seem to be as busy here as it is in other parts of Israel. It is attractive because you can enjoy the beach without tripping over the other bathers. There are two public beach areas. The beach marina is also an attractive area. You can charter boats to take a ride for a few hours or the entire day. You can also charter fishing boats.
Clubs
Both locals and tourists love this area at night due to the fun clubs and activities taking place. There is live music, dancing, drinks, food, and a chance to meet new people. This starts when the sun goes down and continues until the sun comes up the next morning. The railway station here makes it convenient to come for the day, for the night events, and more. It is simple to get to and from Nahariya.
