What to Expect While Visiting Rosh Pina
The population of Rosh Pina is about 2,600. It is located in the Upper Galilee area of Israel. The area was established with the arrival of several families from Romania. It is believed to be one of the first Jewish agricultural settlements.
Mitzpe HaYamim
This is a well-known spa which many tourists enjoy when they come to Israel. The procedures offered are all organic and the setting is very tranquil. There is also an art gallery and a garden to explore here.
Nimrod Lookout
Perhaps the best place in Rosh Pina to take photos is from Nimrod Lookout. This area is lush and green, with plenty of water. It faces the Hula Valley and Mount Hermon, so it offers plenty of background scenes for your photos.
Baron Rothschild Gardens
There are few gardens in all of Israel that even come close to the beauty and colors of this one. It is very large with paths to walk along, and you can enjoy the lovely specimens. It was created in 1886 and continues to be very well maintained today. Several of the specimens were brought here from France, including the pine trees.
Hiking and Exploring
There are plenty of places to go hiking or horseback riding along the marked trails. There are also Jeep and other vehicle tours to take you through the more difficult terrain. There is plenty to see and do here.
Tourism Perks
There is no shortage of welcoming places for tourists in this area. Lovely cafes and wonderful restaurants continue to draw people from the surrounding area. There are cozy guest houses that can be a nice change from the typical hotel setting. There are plenty of art galleries in the older part of Rosh Pina, so plan at least a day to go and visit them.
